The accomplishment is a testament to Sutter Health’s unflinching dedication to safeguarding the well-being of the patients and maintaining high-quality care, according to Dr. William Isenberg, Sutter Health’s Chief Medical and Quality Officer. To enhance their performance in subsequent evaluation cycles, even Sutter’s hospitals that did not receive an “A” grade are implementing work plans. These plans draw inspiration from the best practices established by their Sutter counterparts which have consistently obtained ‘A’ grades. Indeed, one of the shining examples from Sutter’s network is Mills-Peninsula Medical Center which has consistently obtained the ‘Straight A’ designation over six grading periods running back to Spring 2023.
