The MHA Keystone Center has collaborated with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) to curate a series of innovative online learning modules centered around infection control and prevention. These modules, specifically designed to cater to the needs of Michigan’s intricate healthcare system, are being offered without any charge. The six-part course is structured with the primary aim to arm healthcare professionals with essential knowledge and necessary competencies, empowering them to apply critical thinking into infection control initiatives. In order to meet this objective, the course expertly interweaves crucial aspects of adult learning principles, educational best practices, CDC recommendations, and the core scientific principles which form the bedrock of effective infection control strategies.
This comprehensive course is part of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) ambitious Project Firstline initiative. For additional information on Project Firstline, professionals can access the CDC and MDHHS Project Firstline webpages.
