The Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) is pleased to announce that applications are now being accepted for the 2025 Critical Access Hospital (CAH) Scholarship program. This program, made possible through a collaboration with APIC Consulting and the Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology (CBIC), promises to boost infection prevention knowledge in under-resourced facilities by reinforcing the overall competence and capacity of infection prevention and control.
APIC will be granting three scholarships, each package holding resources of a total value of $50,000. This encompasses numerous health care education services, including 150 consulting hours, a two-year membership to APIC (and accompanying APIC Great Lakes chapter membership), subscriptions to APIC Text, preparation courses and fees for the CIC exam, access to the APIC PolicyPro Library and a two-year registration for the APIC Annual Conference, inclusive of travel arrangements.
To gain access to this remarkable opportunity, potential candidates need to submit their applications before the closing date of September 13th. If you are interested in applying, please visit the APIC website to familiarize yourself fully with both the eligibility requisites and the application procedure. If there remain any outstanding queries, hopeful applicants are advised to contact Kelsey Ostergren at the MHA, who will be glad to assist.
